About This Event
At eProd, we believe that open digital infrastructure and robust traceability systems are essential for the future of agriculture. By integrating these tools with geospatial verification, this initiative sets a practical reference model for compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), positioning Kenya as a leader in responsible coffee production.
This achievement reflects the power of collaboration. We are honored to work alongside incredible sector players including the Kenya Coffee Platform (KCP), New Kenya Planters Cooperative Union (NKPCU), Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, and The Nairobi Coffee Exchange, with support from German cooperation GIZ under the DIASCA program.
The flagging-off ceremony brought together stakeholders from government, cooperatives, exporters, financial institutions, and development partners — all united in advancing a more sustainable future for coffee.
This is more than a shipment — it’s a statement of Kenya’s readiness for global sustainability standards, and we are proud to provide the digital backbone that helps make it possible.
